General Summary:

Are you passionate about delivering top-notch service and innovative technology solutions? Join our dynamic team as an Absence Solutions Consultant! In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with our Client Success, Sales, Client Management, and Solutions teams to elevate the service experience for our Total Leave and HR Connect customers. Your mission: to drive technology initiatives and projects that are not only repeatable, scalable, and efficient but also transformative.

Unum Total Leave and HR Connect are HRIS integrates that automates and streamlines the benefits and absence administration systems.

This is a hybrid role that requires onsite 2x per week or 8 days per month. Locations: Atlanta, (Sandy Springs) GA, Chattanooga, TN, or Portland, ME

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field) or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of leave and/or HRIS Experience

  • Strong Leave Management experience

  • HRIS configuration and business analysis experience a plus.

  • Previous customer facing interaction experience is a requirement

  • Strong technology acumen in the benefits technology space

  • User Support experience in UKG, Workday or ADP applications required is a plus.

  • Exceptional knowledge of UKG, Workday or ADP module integration and downstream, cross-functional impacts.

  • Demonstrates exceptional project management skills for medium to large sized projects and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

  • Demonstrates strategic and critical thinking capability.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Lean principles.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

  • Strong customer service orientation and skills; ability to thrive in a team environment as a change agent and the ability to work independently is required.

  • Must be comfortable working with a variety of employees ranging from employee to senior executive level.

  • Must have proven track record of successfully proposing, documenting and implementing improvements or innovations to systems and processes in a global environment.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Internet Explorer.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for supporting services business results achieving financial objectives and targets

  • Drive innovative technology vision and strategy to team and internal partners to enhance employee experience for partners and clients

  • Accountability for supporting existing and new technology implementations and ongoing support escalations by the Unum on-boarding teams

  • Drive technology initiatives that span multiple disciplines.

  • Work with internal partners to identify areas of improved communication and efficiencies with both internal teams and HCM partner.

  • Collaborate with product owners and business managers to design and scope enrollment and benefit administration technology solutions to support new products, product enhancements, services, and operating efficiencies for Unum

  • Proactively recommend and drive process improvements and innovative solutions to add value to the business and our customers.

  • Develop and build relationships with Workday and UKG customers, Workday and ADP product managers and other influencers at Workday and UKG.

  • May Represent Solutions business at UKG, Workday and ADP events, conferences and user groups.

  • Proactively recommend and drive innovative solutions and process improvements and to add value to the business and our customers

  • Promote and learn how to apply innovative solutions and services in areas that will enhance both the Total Leave and HR Connect solutions.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

$83,050.00-$149,490.00

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
